Many Religions, Many Paths, But Only ONE WAY: THE WAY!

Sure, it’s very politically correct to say there are many paths or religions to get to heaven. But honestly, we know this can’t be true.

One path says heaven is everywhere. Another says heaven is in oneself. Yet another says heaven is unknowable. However, only ONE, Christianity, says heaven is a specific place and can only be gotten to in a very specific way.

So either all the paths are wrong, or one is right. It might not sound fair, but there are no other options. A person can sincerely believe something with all their heart, but that doesn’t change the reality and truth of what they believe.

THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE

Jesus told us…

“I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. No one can come to the Father except THROUGH me.”
Jesus Christ, ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Notice He says, “THE” Way, “THE” Truth, and “THE” Life. “THE” is a definite article. He DIDN’T say, “I am A way, A truth, or A Life”. That makes no sense.

Jesus is the ONLY WAY! Period. No ifs, ands, or buts!

What started as a series of articles on World Religions back in 2023 became an eye-opening journey for me as I delved into some very, very dark places. Here, then, is a recap of the whole series, which started as “A Remarkable Look into the Growth of Paganism & Demon Worship” that shed light on the darkness of Satan’s work on earth.

What is Paganism?

The Dictionary defines Paganism as “a religion other than one of the main world religions, specifically a non-Christian or pre-Christian religion”. Another definition is, “a modern religious movement incorporating beliefs or practices from outside the main world religions, especially nature worship”.

Interesting. Isn’t that what’s going on today? Furthermore, it is my intent, with this series of articles, to show that all of the “main world religions” are pagan. Except, of course, for Biblical Christianity. Besides that, I’ll prove ALL paganism is DEMONIC and from Satan himself.

Pagan Religions

We’ll start with where and how paganism began and how it grew and spread all over the world. In these articles, I highlight the pagan and demonic practices of various world religions, including, in no specific chronological order…

Obviously, there are many resources on world religions. Be assured that my research is mostly based on videos and sources from solid Christian pastors and biblical scholars. I will be including videos and book resources for you to be able to dig deeper.

You can read the Book of Acts to learn what happened after Jesus’ Resurrection and how “The Way” spread throughout the Roman Empire. At first, the followers of Jesus experienced persecution from fellow Jews. However, as Paul’s ministry took him further into the Gentiles in the Roman Empire, he encountered the Greek gods.

Fascinated with Christian church history, I wrote a novel set in first-century Italy. Hence, I had to do a lot of research on Roman Mythology, which led me to Greek Mythology and its similarities. Turns out, the Romans copied the Greek gods and just renamed them.

Have you ever dabbled in the Occult? Come on, be honest. I am a child of the 60s and 70s America. I also believe that the Catholic Church actually enabled me to easily delve into the occult. Face it. Obviously, the occult is mysterious, otherworldly, and who doesn’t want to know the future? As a teen, I was into all of that. Not knowing any better, I played with Ouija Boards. Wanting to be cool, I just about memorized Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs and knew all the personal characteristics of each zodiac sign.

When I went away to college and walked away from the useless Catholic Church, I loved the bar scene. My favorite pick-up line was, “What’s Your Sign?” If the guy didn’t know, I’d ask, “When’s your birthday?” Immediately, I knew what his sign was. Additionally, I then determined if he was compatible with my being a Gemini. If he wasn’t, I’d introduce him to a friend of mine with a compatible “love sign”. If he was, I’d continue the conversation.

Needless to say, that whole system didn’t work at all. I never found a guy willing to commit to a long-term relationship, never mind marriage. I was going about life the wrong way.

In conclusion, all religions cannot all be right! There’s only ONE TRUTH, and that’s Jesus Christ. True, born-again Christianity is an exclusive club. However, EVERYONE is invited!

Where Do You Stand?

When I was in high school, I was very much into astrology. I had Linda Goodman’s Sunsigns memorized. I was also intrigued by tarot cards, palm readings, Ouija boards, and the occult. See, I was raised Catholic. It was an empty religion. I got nothing out of it. Certainly not salvation! Thus, I went out into the world looking to fill the hole in my soul. I couldn’t find it. I could have fallen into many different black holes, like drugs, alcoholism, mysticism, and any of the other bevy of things I tried.

Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.

Believe — have Faith — that Jesus is the Christ, and He died taking your sins away forever, and that He rose from the dead 3 days later.
Repent of your sins: In other words, stop sinning! Do a complete 180-degree turn in your life and surrender it all to Him. When you ask Jesus to forgive you, He will. ALL your sins will be wiped clean, past, present, and future! And All means ALL!
Be Baptized by water baptism: Show the world and yourself that you have died to your old life and are born again in Christ.
Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit in your heart.
