What is Truth? Your Truth, My Truth, THE TRUTH

This blog is called “Seek the Truth”. My hashtag on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram is #SeekTheTruth. But…

What is Truth?

Truth is a match-up with reality.

PragerU

Does it line up with what’s real? Reality makes something true.

Truth is not a matter of opinion.

Politicians Lie — and so Do Many of the Mainstream Media

What about Jesus Christ? Is he Truth? I Jesus the Only way to God?

Jim Denison, of Denison Forum, explains the difference between Hinduism, Muslims, Buddhists and Christianity…

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Jesus, John 14:6 NLT

Notice Jesus said he was, “THE Way” not “a way”. Furthermore, He said, “THE Truth” not “a truth”.

Jesus said,”You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell[a] is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”
Jesus said, “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me!”

We all are searching for something. We all have a God-sized hole in our hearts that only Jesus can fill. We can keep seeking and searching, but the TRUTH is found only in Jesus Christ.

Jesus never promised that we wouldn’t have problems. In fact he said…

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

But we have a hope and a peace that surpasses all understanding — the hope of a place with Him and the Father in Heaven.

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?

Jesus, John 14:2

If you’re ready to let Jesus into your heart, pray this prayer sincerely and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
