Last year, the terrorist group, Hezbollah, fired a missile from Lebanon, and it hit a Druze community in Northern Israel. I posted information about the Druze community back then…
Who are the Druze?
The Druze are a tightly-knit, segregated, religious group found in Lebanon, Syria, Northern Israel, and other parts of the world. They broke off Islam in the 11th century (1000s). Here are some of their beliefs and customs…
- They added mysticism to Islamic beliefs, thus separating themselves from Muslims.
- They believe in reincarnation.
- Druze is to Islam like Mormonism is to Christianity.
- They marry within their people group, so everyone is related.
- The Druze in Israel serve in the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and support Israel.
- The Druze of the Golan Heights — which was once part of Syria — are residents of Israel.
- When Israel was evacuating the northern areas at the time when Hezbollah started bombing Israel after the Oct. 7th attack, the Druze refused to leave their communities.
- There are approximately 700,000 Druze in Syria.
Today, the Druze are in the news again, not in Lebanon, but in Syria. The Al-Qaeda terrorist Bedouin faction attacked a group of Druze in Syria. Remember, Al-Qaeda is the terrorist group from which Bin Laden came. Yes, the one who masterminded the attack on 9/11 in the U.S.
Here are several videos that cover the news from Israel. The first two were recorded live on 7/17/25, as news was breaking. I’ll continue to update this page as videos come out. You can also follow me on Telegram, where I share videos.
A Brief History of Modern Syria
- After the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1918, Syria came under French control via the Sykes-Picot Agreement and the San Remo Conference.
- Arab Kingdom of Syria (1920): Briefly declared independence under King Faisal I, but was defeated by French forces at the Battle of Maysalun.
- French Mandate (1920–1946): France divided Syria into several autonomous regions based on sectarian lines (e.g., Alawite State, the Druze, and the Kurds). This led to widespread resistance, including the Great Syrian Revolt (1925–1927)
- Full Independence: Achieved in 1946, after French withdrawal.
- Political Turmoil: Syria experienced multiple coups, including U.S.-backed ones in 1949. It briefly joined Egypt in the United Arab Republic (1958–1961).
- Ba’ath Party Rise: In 1963, the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party seized power, promoting Arab nationalism and socialism.
- Military Coup: Hafez al-Assad took power in 1970, establishing an authoritarian regime dominated by the Alawite minority.
- Regional Conflicts:
- Fought Israel in the Yom Kippur War (1973).
- Intervened in the Lebanese Civil War.
- Internal Repression: Crushed the Muslim Brotherhood uprising in Hama (1982), killing thousands.
- Foreign Policy: Aligned with the Soviet Union, later participated in the Gulf War (1991) against Iraq.
- Bashar al-Assad became president in 2000 after his father’s death.
- Initial Reforms: Released political prisoners and promised liberalization, but quickly reverted to repression.
- Arab Spring & Civil War (2011–Present)
- 2024: When Iran-backed Hezbollah was severely reduced by Israel, ISIS/Al-Qaeda terrorist factions (HTS) took the opportunity to rise and remove the al-Assad regime.
- Since then, the area has been unstable.
- Reports from Syria: Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa (AKA, al-Julani) received warnings from countries in the region, stating that either he will relinquish control of As-Suweida to the Druze, or he risks the collapse of his regime and even his elimination by Israel. (Amir Tsarfati on Telegram)
Once a Terrorist, Always a Terrorist

He can change his name, put on a suit, and trim his beard, but in his heart, he is still a terrorist. In my opinion, Al-Julani fooled President Trump into removing the terrorist label from the HTS and the sanctions against Syria. Unfortunately, Trump doesn’t fully understand Islamist extremist ideology. Once a terrorist, always a terrorist.
The only hope is THROUGH Jesus Christ. There’s no heart too hard for Jesus.
We need to pray for the Druze. Lord, please protect the innocents. Pray for the salvation of the Muslims, the Druze, and the Jews. I pray that President Trump wakes up and sees the truth about Al-Jolani and puts him back on the terrorist list, as well as the ISIS group that’s committing these atrocities. I pray that the U.S. sanctions Syria again.
Jesus warned us in His Olivet Discourse…
6 And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately. 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Matthew 24:6-7 NLT
We are living in the Last Days. Are you ready for Jesus’ return?
If you’re not sure if you’re saved or not, if you truly want to be born again and have the assurance of salvation, receive the Holy Spirit, feel His Shalom — a peace that surpasses all understanding, and get a 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven after you die, or that you won’t be left behind at the Rapture, which can happen at any moment, this is what you have to do…
