The Israelites rebelled against God by not trusting in Him and now, a whole generation will not see the Promised Land. They will be wandering in the desert for 40 years until the younger generation is old enough to be able to fight the people who inhabit Canaan. Meanwhile, God tells Moses to remind the people that while they are alive, they still have to offer special gifts as a sacrifice to God. He also goes into detail in case the sin is unintentional (Numbers 15:1-29). However, then we have a major rebellion, the people just don’t want to listen to God. They are tired of wandering, tired of waiting for the Promised Land. They become impatient and, well … let’s dig in….

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Jesus didn’t die so we could have religion! He died so He could have a Relationship with YOU!
