In the last 2 chapters of Leviticus, God details what happens when the people obey and disobey His rules. God made a covenant — an agreement with the Israelites. It’s a binding contract. Then, He gave them the terms of the agreement through Moses. God keeps His promises. If you obey the laws, you will be blessed. If you disobey, you break the covenant agreement and face the consequences. And it’s interesting how the number 7 is featured here.
Why do we need to read this? Because we are human sinners, breaking God’s laws every day. We are doomed to suffer punishment in hell. Enter Jesus, our Savior, to take our 7-fold punishment for us! Let’s dig in….
Jesus said, “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” ~ Revelation 3:22 NLT – This phrase is repeated 14 times in scripture. Kind of gives the idea that God wants us to pay attention.

Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.
Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Jesus didn’t die so we could have religion! He died so He could have a Relationship with YOU!
