Handwashing is the new obsession in today’s world. Back in Jesus’ day, handwashing was a religious, traditional, ceremony that Jews had to do before they ate. They had to be purified. However, that external act did not purify their hearts.
Many of today’s religions have man-made rules, traditions, rites and rituals which accomplish nothing. Watch how Jesus explains the Gospel Truth. Let’s dig in….
Jesus said, “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” ~ Revelation 3:22 NLT – This phrase is repeated 14 times in scripture. Kind of gives the idea that God wants us to pay attention.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
