12.14: Hypocrisy, Greed and Worry – 3 Major Pitfalls in Your Walk with God

Hypocrisy is the opposite of integrity. Integrity is when you mean what you say, do what you say you’ll do and are trustworthy. Hypocrisy is being two-faced. Saying one thing and doing the exact opposite. Greed is the craving for more — bigger, better, faster, more money, happiness. Worry happens when what you expect from greed doesn’t happen — or you’re unsure if it will. For instance, how many of you are worried about what 2021 will bring considering all that happened in 2020?

If you’re trying to walk with God — to live in His Kingdom — hypocrisy, greed and worry take you in the wrong direction. In Luke chapter 12, Jesus tells us what we have to do to avoid these three pitfalls…
