Today we finish the letter to the Christian Jews solidifying that Jesus is all we need. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The Gospel or Good News of Jesus’ salvation is the same yesterday, today and forever. No one can change it! False teachers may try to twist it to fit society’s sinful nature because people may not like what it says, but they can’t. They may try to water it down because it sounds better and makes one feel good. That’s not its purpose.
The Gospel’s purpose is share the Good News of Jesus’ true salvation. Jesus didn’t suffer and die on the cross so we could have religion! He sacrificed His life so that we could live with Him in paradise forever in Heaven. His sacrifice, cleansed us from our sins once and for all!
