7.23: How Wide, Long, High and Deep is the Love of Jesus!

One of my favorite statues of Jesus is Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janero, Brazil. I’ve always wanted to go there, but alas, I’ll have to enjoy it online for now. The statue shows Jesus with His arms stretched out, but He’s not on the cross. It reminds me of a couple of Bible passages. One is from the Psalms which is a prophetic one considering it’s in the Psalms talking about Jesus’ redemption of our sins…

Psalm 103:12 NLTAs far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us

When you think about a globe, if you travel north, eventually, you’ll reach the North Pole and then be heading south. However, when you travel east, you’ll always be traveling east. East and west will never meet. That’s how far away Jesus removed our sins from us. They’re gone! Never to come back! Done!

Another scripture that reminds me of that statue as well as the ocean, is in… Ephesians Chapter 3….

Keep reading in my blog where I have a picture of the statue and the ocean….

If you truly want to be born again and have the assurance of salvation, receive the Holy Spirit, and get a 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven and that you won’t be left behind at the Rapture, this is what you have to do…

Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.

Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Jesus Christ is coming back soon! Are you ready?
