Right Now! God is Revealing the Signs of the Times

God gave us Bible Prophecy as a warning to mankind to clean up our act, obey God and avoid the worse of the worst — the consequences. Most of the Old Testament prophets were sent to warn the Hebrews that they’d better stop sinning — and their greatest sin was idolatry. Over and over and over again, God warned them to stop worshiping the pagan gods or else. Well, there were a lot of “or elses”. Two of them were the attacks of Assyria then Babylon on Israel and Judah — they had 2 kingdoms at the time. You’d think they would have learned after the Assyrian attack, but no. So God sent the Babylonians not once, not twice, but 3 times. And the 3rd time, they totally destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple that Solomon built. You can read all about that starting in 1 Kings.

The New Testament has a whole new set of warnings, yet, they quote the Old Testament prophets a lot. At the bottom of this blog I’ve embedded two videos — they’re long, but worth watching. One is on the coming one-world government and the other is a Prophecy Update talking about what’s happening in the world today as reflected in Biblical Prophecy.

I’ve written of Jesus’ predictions of the end times in Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13. But there are more — a lot more. We are living in the last days. The “birth pains” really started when Israel became a nation in 1948. Like a woman in labor, they get stronger and more frequent as she’s ready to give birth. If you look at the start of 2020 to today, you have to realize that, yes, the birth pains are getting worse. Check out what Paul wrote to Timothy…

You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NLT

When I first read this back in the 90s, I commented that it’s describing today’s culture! Jesus warned us in Luke 17…

26“When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 27 In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 “And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— 29 until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home. 32 Remember what happened to Lot’s wife! 33 If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it. 34 That night two people will be asleep in one bed; one will be taken, the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding flour together at the mill; one will be taken, the other left.”

Luke 17:26-35

That last part is describing the Rapture. But what was happening in Noah’s day?

As in the days of Noah…

5The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. So the Lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. And the Lord said, “I will wipe this human race I have created from the face of the earth. Yes, and I will destroy every living thing—all the people, the large animals, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and even the birds of the sky. I am sorry I ever made them.” But Noah found favor with the Lord.

Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. 12 God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. 13 So God said to Noah, “I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!…

19Finally, the water covered even the highest mountains on the earth, 20 rising more than twenty-two feet above the highest peaks. 21 All the living things on earth died—birds, domestic animals, wild animals, small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people. 22 Everything that breathed and lived on dry land died. 23 God wiped out every living thing on the earth—people, livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and the birds of the sky. All were destroyed. The only people who survived were Noah and those with him in the boat. 24 And the floodwaters covered the earth for 150 days.

Genesis 6:5-7, 11-13, 7:19-24

God doesn’t fool around. Look at what Jesus told the Jewish religious leaders…

One day the Pharisees and Sadducees came to test Jesus, demanding that he show them a miraculous sign from heaven to prove his authority. He replied, “You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times!

Matthew 16:2-3 NLT

Paul Wrote to the Thessalonians…

Now concerning how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters, we don’t really need to write you. For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.

But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-2, 4-6

What are the Signs of the Times?

Here’s a list of the signs to look for. It’s from the New World Order video below…

  • Socialized medicine
  • Gun control
  • Big government
  • High taxes
  • Population reduction
  • Immigration — cheap labor — open borders
  • Affordable housing for all
  • Environmentalism
  • Increase the debt
  • Increase poverty
  • International welfare
  • Class warfare
  • No religion but a single pagan religion
  • Destroy the family

We also have the capability for a cashless, monetary system with bitcoin. Not to get political, but doesn’t this all sound a lot like the Democrats’ agenda? Just sayin’…..

We’re here, folks. There’s no doubt about it. They are also looking for one man who will step up and solve the world’s problems. They’ve been looking for this guy for years. Watch the video below. “Be he god or devil.” That guy will be the Antichrist and I believe he’s alive right now waiting for the right moment to reveal himself. I’ll talk about him an a future post.

“All we need is the right major crisis and the nation will accept the new world order.”

David Rockefeller (1915-2017)

What could that major crisis be?

  • A major earthquake that causes a huge tsunami that hits the Pacific coast
  • Another Katrina, Superstorm Sandy, or Michael hitting a large east coast city
  • The Rapture? Let’s see. I’d call the sudden disappearance of millions of Christians a major crisis, no?

The predicted days of Noah are returning. That’s not a good sign if Jesus is not your personal Lord and Savior.

The Apocalypse is coming and sorry, but you won’t be able to hit “cancel” and make it go away.

If you want the assurance of salvation and a 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven, and that you won’t be left behind at the Rapture, and have to endure the Tribulation, this is what you have to do…

Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.

  • Believe — have Faith — that Jesus is the Christ and He died taking your sins away forever and that He rose from the dead 3 days later.
  • Repent of your sins — stop sinning! Do a complete 180-degree turn in your life and surrender your life to Him. When you ask Jesus to forgive you He will. ALL your sins will be wiped clean — past, present, and future! And All means ALL!
  • Be Baptized by water baptism — show the world and yourself that you have died to your old life and are born again in Christ.
  • Receive the gift of Holy Spirit in your heart.

Invite Jesus into Your Heart and Receive the Gift of Grace, Joy, Peace, and the Confident Hope of Eternal Life…

Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.”
