Many of the movies that came out in the 60s and 70s, when I was growing up, were of the Cold War. The more dramatic ones were of the double agents. Sometimes the agents found themselves in a situation that he or she had to lie to stay alive. They had to hide and blend in among the enemy. Most times, the people he or she was spying on didn’t know that they had loyalties to both sides.
David’s been hiding from Saul in a Philistine city. King Achish likes having him around because he and his men are formidable warriors. However, having Hebrews in the Philistine army doesn’t sit well with some Philistine commanders. Let’s dig in….
