3.10: How Isaiah 53 Foretells the Pain of Jesus’ Death

Martin Luther said, “If you want to understand the Christian message, you must start with the wounds of Christ.”

Isaiah 53 was written 700 years before Jesus’ crucifixion, yet it describes perfectly how Jesus sacrificed His life to take away our sins once and for all.

Quoted from Sandy Adams lesson on Isaiah 53 in Through The Word – Bible study app.

I recommend the Bible app and listening to several versions of Isaiah 53 to really allow the scripture to get into your heart.

If you want your 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven, pray this prayer:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
