Growing up Catholic, I knew the Holy Spirit (or Ghost) as part of the Trinity. However, not having Jesus’ true Salvation, I was missing the benefits of having the Holy Spirit in me — in my heart.
Jesus said in John 14:26 (AMP): “But when the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify and bear witness about Me.”
Once I was baptized, it still took me a while to fully grasp all the benefits of the Holy Spirit living in me.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
