As we continue our trek through God’s story seeking Jesus in the Old Testament, we saw how God promised Abraham that He’d make his descendants into a great nation — Israel (Genesis). Then through God’s orchestration, they end up as slaves in Egypt, but God keeps His promise and leads them out of captivity and into the wilderness (Exodus). In Leviticus, God lays down the law and we learn how detailed and burdensome all the sacrificial rituals were as the get ready to travel through the desert to the Promised Land. Each of these stories all point to Jesus as the Jewish Messiah and Savior of the world.
