Yes, it’s Sunday, rather than Saturday. Yesterday I had to do the outlook for 2023, which wiped me out. So, I’ll do part 2 of the Messianic Psalms next Sunday, and we’ll be back on schedule. This past Friday night was the “First Friday Artwalk” in Downtown Phoenix. I live in the heart of the historic Roosevelt neighborhood. Around 7 pm, I heard lots of sirens and saw flashing lights — police cars — dozens of them — coming down my street. Going outside, I couldn’t see what was going on. I couldn’t find anything online so I waited for the 9:00 news. Turns out a Scottsdale police SWAT team came to an apartment building about 4 blocks from me to issue an arrest warrant. One of the officers was shot. He’s recovering from his wound.
The perp leaped out of 2nd story balcony and ran. He was still at large Friday night. They caught him in Tempe Saturday morning. He was shot but expected to recover.

Israel Watch in the Last Days
In case you didn’t realize it, global bible prophecy centers on Israel. Ironically, while most nations are going through government turmoil and division, Israel seems to be the only country that has a stable, hardline, conservative government.

Furor over Temple Mount Visit
The national security minister for Israel’s new government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, was criticized by key figures in the Arab world for making a 15-minute visit to the Temple Mount. Palestinians have accused him of “storming” the al-Aqsa mosque in an “unprecedented provocation.” But Ben-Gvir never entered the mosque.
The Palestinian prime minister said Ben-Gvir’s visit was “a violation of all norms, values, international agreements and laws, and Israel’s pledges to the American president.”
While Jews are allowed to visit the Temple Mount compound, they cannot pray there. But Palestinians have long complained that visits by Jews are a threat against Palestinian and Arab authority over the site.

Making It Illegal to Interact with Israel
Back when the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan all signed the Abraham Accords and normalized relations with Israel, it was expected that Oman would soon sign as well.
But last Friday, the Arab nation’s parliament passed a law making it criminal for the country and its people to have any interactions with Israel.
Oman’s longtime ruler Sultan Qaboos died in 2020, and was replaced by his cousin, Sultan Haitham, who has since developed closer relations with Iran.

Watch for the Signs of the Last Days!
Jesus’ words were not so much for the sake of answering His disciple’s questions. Obviously, it was meant for us today — our generation living in the Last Days! Paul also warned us of deception, delusion & debased minds — desperate times leading people to desperate measures — whether legal or not.
