In my second episode, I covered in the Catholics from the viewpoint of a local, Phoenix, Catholic Church. Today, we look at how Pope Francis and the Vatican may handle being left behind. Why do I think the Pope will be left behind? First, most Catholics aren’t really Christians. They are not born again, thus they won’t be caught up to Heaven when Jesus calls for His true believers. By Pope Francis’ actions when it comes to his “One World Religion” (check out the video at the bottom), he certainly doesn’t act like a born again Christian. Thus, my conclusion that he’ll probably be left behind. Let’s see how he may handle that.
So far in this fictional series, we’ve looked at how various groups of people might handle getting left behind at the Rapture of the true Christian believers. We looked at…
How May the Pope and the Vatican React After the Rapture?
The Rapture will happen at the same moment everywhere around the world. So, if it happens at 10 AM in Phoenix, AZ, it will be 6 PM in Rome, Italy. The idea behind these fictional scenarios, is to get you to understand that you have to be ready. It could happen at any moment and you really don’t want to be left behind. Remember, no one knows the day or the hour. Only God the Father knows.
The Vatican, Rome, Italy, 6 pm, in the near, post-COVID future.
Pope Francis was having dinner with two cardinals in his quarters when they felt an earthquake. Feeling tremors and minor quakes was not unusual with their relatively close proximity to the volcanoes at Mounts Vesuvius, Stromboli and Etna.
An aide came running in, very excited. He bowed, “Sirs, forgive me for interrupting your dinner, but you must turn on the television news. People are vanishing all over the world!”
One of the cardinals reached for the remote on a side table and turned on the TV. The Italian news anchor was obviously flustered as she reported on the disappearances of people and children all over the world. In America, where it was daylight, cameras captured people in church services suddenly turning bright white and de-materializing into the air, through the ceiling and into the sky. Those who were driving vehicles vanished from behind the wheel and the cars or trucks crashed into other vehicles or buildings. She also reported on several planes crashing when both the pilot and copilot disappeared. There were reports of air traffic controllers vanishing from their posts leaving planes to fend for themselves.
Pope Francis and the cardinals watched in wonder. What was also curious was the fact all children under 12 years old were gone, too.
Another aide came in and bowed, “Sirs, pardon the interruption, but there is an urgent call from a news reporter wanting to know the condition of the Pope. It seems the one thing all the people that are gone have in common is that they are Christians.”
One of the cardinals answered, “Call the press office. Let them handle it. Tell them the Pontiff has no comment at this time, that he is here and well.”
The other cardinal addressed the Pontiff, “Your excellency, could this be the Rapture that the Protestants talked about?”
Pope Francis thought a moment, “If that is so, then why are we still here? No, it has to be another miraculous event.”
Yet another aide came in an nervous state, “Sirs, the earthquake we felt earlier, downstairs in the necropolis, the tombs of St. Peter and St. Paul are empty! Also, the very old ones from the first through the sixth centuries. All the later ones haven’t been touched. It is all very strange!”
The Pope and the cardinals looked at each other. One of the cardinals spoke up, “We have to go see!”
The three of them went downstairs to the underground beneath St. Peter’s Basilica to where popes and cardinals have been buried, most in stone sarcophagi. It usually took four strong men to move the lids off the sarcophagi. When they reached the necropolis, they were astounded to see the lids from several graves strewn like if they were made of cardboard. All the remains of the saints and the early popes and priests were gone — vanished!
The Pontiff and the cardinals were in shock and clueless. The three of them fell to their knees and started praying. To whom they prayed is unknown.
Three Days Later
The Pope was so disturbed by the fact that St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s remains were gone that he spent the next two days fasting, praying and studying. He watched videos online of Protestant preachers explaining the Rapture. He read the Bible. Pope Francis was heartbroken that he had led everyone astray. He made a crucial decision. He was going to resign. He could not cope with telling everyone that what the Roman Catholic Church taught was all lies. That no Catholic was truly saved without believing in the Grace of God and not through works.
The Pontiff called a meeting of the College of Cardinals and presented his resignation.
Now, had all these Cardinals come to the same realization as the Pope did, things might have turned out differently. However, because Satan had his tentacles throughout every office of the Roman Catholic Church, the majority of the Cardinals still believed in the New World Order, and the New World Religion. It’s the next pope that is chosen who will be last pope on earth. He’ll be the False Prophet that we read about in Revelation…
11 Then I saw another beast come up out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb, but he spoke with the voice of a dragon. 12 He exercised all the authority of the first beast. And he required all the earth and its people to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 He did astounding miracles, even making fire flash down to earth from the sky while everyone was watching. 14 And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. 15 He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

If You Are Left Behind…
You will have a choice — turn to Jesus as your Lord and Savior — it’s your second chance — OR you will HAVE TO worship the beast, aka, the Antichrist or die. I’ll get into those scenarios in the last four episodes.
