So far in this fictional series, we’ve looked at how some religions and “Christian” denominations might handle getting left behind at the Rapture of the true Christian believers. In this post, we’ll look at how the Rapture may affect the U.S. government in Washington D.C. based on the current office holders. So, I’m assuming that the Rapture may happen before the next Congressional election in 2022. Again, no one knows the day or the hour. Only God the Father knows.

How May the U.S. Government Leaders React After the Rapture?
The Rapture will happen at the same moment everywhere around the world. So, if it happens at 10 AM in Phoenix, AZ, it will be around lunch time in Washington, DC (depending if it’s Daylight Savings Time or not). The idea behind these fictional scenarios, is to get you to understand that you have to be ready. It could happen at any moment and you really don’t want to be left behind.
Washington, DC, around 1 pm, in the near, post-COVID future.
President Joe Biden was relaxing with the First Lady, Jill, in the courtyard of Camp David. He really enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of DC. They had gone to Catholic Mass earlier in the morning and were waiting to be served lunch. Secret Service guards were stationed around the grounds doing their protective duty.
A female servant, in her 20s, came out with a tray of food for them. As she approached the table, she vanished. The tray with food, plates, and glasses crashed onto the walkway. The noise startled the President and the First Lady. Jill leaped out of her chair to run to where the girl had been standing. All that was there was her uniform, the tray of food, her shoes, a bracelet and a cross necklace.
“Where did she go?” the First Lady exclaimed.
“I don’t know,” the President replied.
A Secret Service agent came running, “Are you alright, sir, madam?”
“Yes, we’re OK,” the First Lady replied, “The young waitress seems to have vanished!”
“It seems we lost a few of our agents, too. Please, let’s go inside.” He directed them indoors.
Inside, the First Lady walked her husband to his favorite chair. “Here, dear, relax. I’ll go see what’s going on.”
The President looked pale and seemed dazed. His wife noticed that his heart rate was up, “Please call the doctor. I don’t think he’s well.”
Two hours later, the doctor came out of the bedroom, “Mrs. Biden, I think you better call the Vice President. I’ve called for the helicopter. Let’s take him to the hospital.”
“Oh, my!” she exclaimed, “May I go in and see him? What’s wrong with him?”
“Yes, you may. It looks like he had a mild stroke. He’s slurring his speech more than usual and he’s having difficulty moving his left arm.”
Mrs. Biden instructed one of her assistants to contact the Vice President to meet them at Walter Reed Hospital. Then she went into her husband’s bedroom. “Joe?” she called softly.
He opened his eyes and tried to focus. “Jill?”
“Yes, dear.”
“What happened?” he slurred.
“It seems you had a mild stroke.”
“No, I mean with the girl that disappeared?”
“Well, it seems that a lot of people all over the world have vanished just like this girl did and several Secret Service agents. There are a lot of rumors going around. Some say it was aliens from outer space. Others say it was some electromagnetic force from one of our enemies. Another “expert” said it was Satanic. Yet another said it was the Rapture of the Christians. In the latter case, why weren’t we taken? It’s all so odd! Come to think of it, I did notice a cross necklace on that girl’s uniform. Where would they go without their clothes? It’s the same everywhere. The people vanished, but their clothes, shoes, glasses, jewelry, anything they were carrying were gone. And, also, all the children under the age of 12 are gone, too!”
At that moment, they heard the helicopter that was ready to take the President to Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda.
Three hours later, the President was comfortably resting in the hospital room. A nurse sat beside him and two Secret Service agents stood on either side of the door.
In the nearby conference room, the First Lady, the Vice President, Kamala Harris, met with three doctors, the Chief of Staff, and other assistants. One of the doctors spoke, “It doesn’t look good.”
The VP looked at the Chief of Staff, “You know what you have to do. We’ve been preparing for this for some time now.”
“Yes, madam. I’ll take care of everything,” and he, along with two assistants left.
“The VP looked at the First Lady, “I’m so sorry, Jill.”
The First Lady was trying to maintain her composure, but she broke down. She’d been holding it all back for so long.
Back in his room, the President woke up and started asking the nurse questions about the vanishings. He noticed that she was wearing a cross necklace. The nurse, was reading on her tablet and was startled when he spoke up.
“Well, Mr. President, I believe this was the Rapture of the Christians.”
“I see you’re a Christian, why are you still here?”
“Good question. I thought I was a Christian. I attended church services when I could depending on my schedule. I went to the Lutheran church. My family was Lutheran, I was baptized as a baby. My family is all still here, too. We missed something. I’ve been searching online and I’ve found several articles. You’re Catholic, aren’t you, sir?”
“Yes. What did we miss?”
“Believing in Jesus Christ as our personal savior. Believing that He died on the cross taking away our sins once and for all. That He is the only way to have eternal life in Heaven.”
“Is it too late for us?” The President asked, solemnly.
“According to this, no. We can invite Jesus into our hearts and we’ll be saved. It also says that there soon will be a Great Tribulation with much destruction all over the world. It’s not going to be pretty. There’s a prayer here that we can pray.”
“Let’s. Read it please.”
“It says to pray this prayer humbly, sincerely and wholeheartedly…I guess you can repeat after me…”
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
She read the prayer sentence by sentence and the President repeated them softly. Tears welled up in his eyes.
“I feel so at peace!” the President said, smiling. With that, he closed his eyes and he went to be with Jesus.
The nurse checked the monitors. Another nurse and the doctors, having been alerted ran in. They tried to revive him, but he was gone.
Jill ran in, “No!”
The nurse who had prayed with him went up to the First Lady and comforted her, “He’s with Jesus now. We prayed together and he was saved just in time. Praise God!”
The First Lady sat by her husband’s side and wept.
One Week Later
President Kamala Harris never thought being President would be so difficult, yet challenging. All her life she dreamed of this and here she was — in the White House — the first woman president, and a woman of color at that! In the one week since Joe Biden passed away, after all the Christians disappeared…
- A major, 8.3 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Oregon caused a tsunami that wiped out the west coasts of Oregon, Washington, parts of Vancouver, Canada, and parts of Northern California.
- She signed an executive order to start a mandatory draft of everyone between the ages of 18 and 35 to replace those who vanished in the military, FBI, Secret Service, CIA, government offices, even FEMA, and the DHS.
- All 50 states called out what was left of their National Guard troops to clean up the streets and highways of abandoned vehicles.
- Anyone with a truck driver’s license was recruited to maintain the shipping of food and supplies around the country.
- All university students where called to go to work somewhere — hospitals, farms, logistics, etc. That would go towards paying off their student loans.
- 4 Supreme Court Justices disappeared.
- State and local government offices where being shifted around to cover the vanished Christians.
- Governors were charged with appointing Senators and Congresspeople to replace those that were gone.
With regards to the Christians being all gone, President Harris actually was glad. It felt like she could do or say anything without being criticized by the Christian Right. And now, the best was yet to come! She could pick 4 new Supreme Court Justices and then all three branches of the U.S. Government would be under the control of the Democrats.
All in all, it was one massive, organizational management project that she knew she could handle. Whatever the reasons for the disappearances were, she didn’t care. She never believed in God. She all of a sudden found herself with an immense amount of freedom, which made her feel ecstatic.
Next she looked forward to going to Brussels to meet with the leaders of the EU, and other world leaders, to offer whatever assistance was needed. She also saw the New World Order forming. What was the phrase? Ah….

Life After the Rapture will NOT be Fun!
There are only 5 more scenarios in this series. If you haven’t figured it out by now, after millions, if not billions of Christians vanish from the face of the earth, evil will run rampant, we have the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as well as stronger and more frequent earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, storms, fires, pestilence, plagues, you name it. It’s all coming to attack those left behind.
What about the new Christians — the Tribulation Saints. They’ll have battle after battle on their hands.
